Notorious skeptic Bjorn Lomborg recently testified in Congress at the request of Sen. Jamesย  (โ€œGlobal warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American Peopleโ€) Inhofe.ย  Predictably, Lomborg called on the APAC 6 to ignore Kyoto because it’s too expensive โ€“ without any recognition of all the wealth and jobs a global transition to clean energy would create.ย  And nowhere does he justify his outrageous assertion that addressing climate change will cost $5 to $8 trillion. His sponsors, in this case APAC, include four of the world’s mightiest coal giants โ€“ Australia, China, Inda ย and the US โ€“ which just might account for his financialย obfuscation!
