One America News Network (OAN)

Background

One America News Network, also branded as One America News (OAN), is a U.S. far-right cable news outlet¹ founded by Robert Herring Sr.

One America News launched in July 2013. The network’s viewership expanded rapidly in 2020, when it began promoting conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 pandemic and the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election.²

Former OAN staff interviewed by The Daily Beast in 2019 described OAN as “a place for viewers too conservative for Fox News.”³

Well known personalities at OAN have included current Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren, as well as Liz Wheeler who hosted OAN’s Final Point from 2015 to 2020.

One America News initially shared office space with The Washington Times, a Washington, D.C.-based conservative newspaper.⁴ “We’re extremely pleased to have developed a working relationship with The Washington Times that provides access to staff and content,” Charles Herring, then president of OAN, said in a 2013 press release.⁵

According to its website, OAN is owned by Herring Network, Inc., a company established in 2004 and which operates out of California and Washington, D.C.⁶

OAN and Donald Trump

OAN was promoted by Donald Trump during his presidency. ⁷ ⁸.

For example, President Trump praised the channel at an August 2017 press conference. ⁹ Trump stated, “I want to congratulate you on the network. It’s a great network.”¹⁰

OAN went on to be a “reliably sympathetic voice of the administration’s goals and actions.”¹¹

The Guardian, describing OAN as Trump’s “favorite” news network, offered the following assessment:¹²

“The obscure One America News Network (OAN) makes up for its lack of clout or viewers by covering every Trump utterance, recycling conspiracy theories, downplaying Russian threats, bashing the mainstream media and championing the ‘Make America Great Again’ agenda.”

The Washington Post noted that OAN was the first cable news outlet to carry Trump’s speeches live and in full early in his presidential nomination campaign. According to internal emails, OAN’s owners suggested that other candidates should not receive the same intensity of coverage. ¹³

According to emails and interviews with OAN journalists, Robert Herring also banned stories about election polls that showed anyone other than Trump in the lead.

The Post’s reporting also described OAN as a pro-Trump network.¹⁴

During Trump’s first 100 days in office, OAN reporter Trey Yingst was called on 27 times at White House press briefings. Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski reportedly had a deal to appear regularly on the network.

Election Misinformation and Lawsuits

In 2020, the voting machine companies Dominion and Smartmatic sued OAN, along with its hosts Chanel Rion and Christina Bobb, in a series of defamation lawsuits. Both companies have accused OAN, Rion, and Bobb of spreading false and damaging information about the companies in relation to the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election. The companies engaged “in a race to the bottom with Fox and other outlets such as Newsmax to spread false and manufactured stories about election fraud,” the two companies have charged.

The suits also name Newsmax, another pro-Trump cable channel.¹⁵

In 2021 Dominion also sued MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, for defamatory statements that were broadcast on OAN platforms:¹⁶

Stance on Climate Change

OAN’s coverage of climate change has promoted climate denial.

Daniel Turner, executive director of Power the Future – a 501(c)(4) non-profit fossil fuel advocacy group – has been a regular guest on several OAN programs. Turner is a former Republican communications staffer and an alumnus of the Charles Koch Institute. He also worked for Generation Opportunity, a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization funded by Freedom Partners, a multimillion dollar Koch-tied funding vehicle. ¹⁷

Prominent climate change denial personality Marc Morano has also been a regular on OAN shows. OAN’s Liz Wheeler makes an appearance in Morano’s film “Climate Hustle 2,” which was produced by the fossil fuel-funded Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), and featured a “thinning roster of climate science deniers,” according to reporting by DeSmog. ¹⁸ ¹⁹

Kara McKinney interviewed Steve Milloy and discussed what Milloy described as the “undercurrent of mental illness going through the climate movement.”²⁰

Steve Milloy: [00:00:48] I think there’s a real undercurrent of mental illness going through the climate movement right now that most people really don’t appreciate, and the violent advocacy of violent criminal acts is just one aspect. [00:01:02]

Kara McKinney: [00:02:53] I want to go back to something that I know you hone a lot. This idea about how climate change is almost a watermelon, that it’s green on the outside, it’s red like Marxism on the inside. Because when we talk about property rights, I think that’s a big idea because Marxism, obviously they didn’t believe in private property rights, and that led to a lot of people being hurt and killed throughout the Soviet Union and elsewhere, wherever communism was tried and where it of course, failed, with many people unfortunately dying because of that. [00:03:20]

Steve Milloy: [00:03:44] This is not just small scale terrorism, I mean, this is, you know, they want to destroy our entire society and go back to God knows what. [00:03:52]

Milloy went on to equate COVID lockdowns with the idea of “climate lockdowns”:

Steve Milloy: [00:06:32] I have a thing on Junk Science called never waste a crisis. And it’s it’s a chronicle of how climate activists have wanted to exploit coronavirus and go from the COVID lockdowns into climate lockdowns. They don’t see anything wrong with what’s been going on the past couple of years, the past year. They feel that well we’ve reduced emissions. The air has been cleaner. We should just do this all the time, and they want to go on this same path. [00:06:58]

Steve Milloy: [00:07:13] They’ve been at it from the beginning. It’s hard to tell. It’s hard to separate the crazy from the evil and so I just don’t do that anymore. I just throw them all together, you know, let God sort them. Yet, I’ve got to fight them all. [00:07:25]

OAN’s Natalie Harp interviewed gubernatorial candidate Andrew Giuliani in a show called the “Climate Change Scheme.“²¹

Harp began the segment by suggesting that President Joe Biden “continues to promote an aggressive and expensive campaign to counter so-called climate change,” what she describes as “his radical redistribution of wealth plan disguised as an effort to curb global warming.”

“The radical agenda has been bolstered by the head of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres,” Harp added.

July 2021

Climate change denier Marc Morano appeared on One America News TV’s “In Focus With Stephanie Hamill” to disparage climate change science.²²

“We’re actually cooler than average over the past 30 years in the month of May going into June. So actually anyone claiming that this is some sign of a climate apocalypse is completely absurd,” Morano claimed.

He also said:

“Well, the Obama physicist Steve Koonin [Koonin was Under Secretary for Science, Department of Energy, from 2009 to 2011. – Ed.] said these kind of attribution studies where they use climate models tuned to whatever they want them to say are the equivalent of having a spiritual adviser claim he helped you win the lottery after you won the lottery. So what they do is they look at an event and they say that’s caused by climate change, whether it’s anything of hurricane, flood, tornado, in this case, heat waves. There is no science. This is like seance science, where people sit around and act as though these climate models are telling them something. There is nothing.”

OAN and COVID-19

OAN often aired COVID-19 conspiracy theories. The network was removed from the White House Correspondents’ Association after OAN reporter Chanel Rion violated COVID-19 social distancing protocol. CNN noted Rion had also promoted a conspiracy theory that the novel coronavirus was potentially created in a North Carolina laboratory.²³

Funding

A 2021 special investigation by Reuters found court records suggesting that AT&T, the world’s largest communications company, played a role in OAN’s creation and funding.²⁴

During a 2019 deposition seen by Reuters, OAN founder and chief executive Robert Herring Sr reportedly testified that the inspiration for OAN came from AT&T executives. “They told us they wanted a conservative network,” Herring said in the deposition. “They only had one, which was Fox News, and they had seven others on the other [leftwing] side. When they said that, I jumped to it and built one.”²⁵

According to Reuters, AT&T was a “crucial source of funds flowing into OAN, providing tens of millions of dollars in revenue,” and that ‘ninety percent of OAN’s revenue came from a contract with AT&T-owned television platforms, including satellite broadcaster DirecTV, according to 2020 sworn testimony by an OAN accountant.”

Following the Reuters story, AT&T issued a statement saying it has “never had a financial interest in OAN’s success and does not ‘fund’ OAN.”

However, Reuters reported that court filing showed Herring citing monthly fees included in one five-year deal with AT&T.

“According to an AT&T filing citing Herring’s numbers, those fees would total about $57 million. Greer said that figure is inaccurate, but declined to say how much AT&T has paid to air OAN, citing a non-disclosure agreement,” Reuters reported.

In January 2022, DirecTV announced that it would be dropping OAN in April. OAN subsequently sued DirecTV and AT&T, which owns 70% of DirecTV, for $1 billion in damages. Court filings revealed “an exclusive contract for an AT&T subsidiary to sell commercials for OAN,” Reuters reported, as well as that around 90% of OAN’s revenue came from its deals with AT&T and DirecTV.²⁶

Steve Milloy appeared on OAN’s The Tipping Point with Kara McKinney where they discussed EPA science advisors as well as climate skepticism.

Kara McKinney: [00:01:13] So Biden’s EPA administrator says he was just getting rid of industry influence and restoring science based advisors. Is that really what happened? [00:01:20]

Steve Milloy: [00:01:38] All the new science advisers, or most of them are EPA grantees. Some of them have received as much as $60 billion in EPA grants. So they’re in effect rubber stamps for EPA. they’re the best scientific review money can buy. And this is really going to be serious now because, you know, Biden’s legislative agenda for climate is floundering in Congress. It’s probably not going to pass. It’s very similar to the situation that happened 10, 11 years ago with Obama. The legislation, climate legislation still in Congress and then Obama turned to the EPA to ram his program through which was the destruction of the coal industry. [00:02:17]

Steve Milloy: [00:02:18] And he used these same EPA advisory boards that are in play right now to basically bankrupt the US coal industry. And so when, you know, Biden’s current legislative program fails on climate, at least I don’t think it’ll go through, you know, he’s going to turn to EPA once again. [00:02:37]

Kara McKinney: [00:03:25] So we see the the greater weaponization now of the EPA. I mean, as we expected from Biden [00:03:30]

Kara McKinney: [00:03:35] We’re seeing the other extension of Democrats, as we all know at this point. YouTube, Google. So just Big Tech in general, really clamping down on what they call climate denialism or climate skepticism and all of the new buzzwords fancy words of the day. It’s the same playbook we saw with COVID. Oh we’re just trying to silence, you know, anyone who’s giving misinformation about vaccines and this and that. And of course, that’s not what they were doing at all. [00:03:58]

Kara McKinney: [00:03:59] But of course, now they’re just using that playbook as now the ground has been set. The railroad, I guess, I should say the analogy has been built for for what we’re seeing now. [00:04:06]

Kara McKinney: [00:04:07] And of course, the entire mechanism that was used during COVID to expand government power is now going to be used for for climate. So. So what do you make of the fact that Big Tech now is really trying to clamp down on, on you and I, the same people who want to talk, you know, insane ways about the climate? [00:04:21]

Steve Milloy: [00:04:23] Well, I kind of consider it to be an honor of sorts. You know, I have Google advertising on my website. I have not yet been cut off. I’m you know, a pretty prominent climate denier as they say. I look at it. The reason I look at it positively is because, look, there’s not much money at stake. I mean, there’s no I don’t know any climate realist, any climate blogger that makes much money off Google ads. It’s just a trivial amount. But for them to target us, I mean, that means that we’re really effective. [00:04:51][27.7]

Steve Milloy: [00:04:50] You know, today in the New York Times there was a great story about how there’s some Democrat data guru who said, look, we polled Democrats on climate, and it polls the worst of all issues. He said that it almost appears to quote weird, very liberal white people. OK, so you know, I look at that as a failure. That is just a fail.

I mean, we have been 30 years into climate hysteria now, and if that’s if that’s where we are at this point, that’s a fail. People like me are winning. And as punishment, Google’s going to take away the few nickels they throw at our web sites? OK, I won. That’s all I care about. [00:05:32]

OAN’s Dana Alexa spoke with Republican Senator Brian Dahle on what they claim is “wildfire mismanagement” in California under Governor Gavin Newsom.³⁷

“The Governor blames global warming, but you know, a lot of the problems we have or we can fix,” Dahle commented. “There’s three things you have to have to have a wildfire, you have to have ignition, oxygen and fuel. The one thing we can contain is fuel. We can thin our forests that are overgrown because of the bad policies out of this administration and many other administrations here in California.”

Former Washington Post reporter Ron Kelssler claimed carbon emissions changed very little during COVID-19 lockdowns while talking with OAN.³⁸

Ron Kessler: [00:01:00] What I read in The Washington Post, even though it was buried, was and there was also a story in New York Times saying the same thing that despite the shut down of economies worldwide, despite the fact that you didn’t see cars on the road anymore or very few, no more rush hour, you don’t see airplanes taking off very diminished schedules. You saw schools and buildings and offices shut down. Despite all that, there was no change in the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. In fact, there was even a slight increase during the 16 months of the pandemic. And what it means, of course, is that the whole climate agenda is is a farce. [00:01:47]

OAN’s Kara McKinney interviewed former tobacco industry front group director, and former Murray Energy policy strategist Steve Milloy about the Biden administration’s supposed “hypocrisy” on climate:⁴⁰

During the interview, Milloy lamented that under the Biden administration, EPA scientific panels would not be stocked with the same “independent scientists” that the Trump administration had introduced, and who had pushed to “roll back some of the war on coal regulations” in favor of recommending more industry-friendly air pollution measures.

Steve Milloy: [00:02:00] Trump’s biggest success with EPA came at the hands of these more balanced panels. EPA did not go overboard on air quality regulation, for example. Roll back some of the war on coal regulations because of these more balanced science panels. But now, the first day back in office new chief Michael Regan, he fired all the EPA science advisers, and more than that in the email to them, he said that he was going to reconstitute the board, but they were going to get rid of that anti-corruption rule, as you point out, so that now EPA is going back to where they’re paying researchers to basically rubber stamp the road work at EPA’s policy. [00:02:42]

Kara McKinney: [00:02:43] Is this how the far left, when it comes to climate alarmists, is this how they’re able to get away with saying, look, the scientists say, because they can point to such as these panels, they don’t tell you the back story about them rubber stamping their own work where they go. Look, the consensus is here, all scientists say X, Y and Z. Is that what we’re seeing from the Biden administration with these changes? [00:03:00]

Steve Milloy: [00:03:02] Well, yeah. And you know, you’ve got to remember that the Left owns the entire science establishment now. All the universities and businesses and certainly all the regulatory agencies. It kills me when I see conservatives, I see this all the time in the media know they just take for granted something that’s called science without knowing anything more about it or who did it. The Left own science. They own science review. Peer review—It’s not really peer review anymore. It’s pal review. You know, they’re reviewing their work or their colleagues’ work just rubber stamping and getting it out because it’s politically correct. [00:03:36]

Steve Milloy: [00:03:37] They make literally billions, you know, collectively, billions of dollars from the government doing this is a huge racket. It’s fraud. I have a book called Scare Pollution. I describe this fraud insofar as the Obama administration used it to destroy the coal industry in America. It’s really outrageous. You know, any time you hear the word science now, as we’ve all learned from COVID, you got to be really careful. [00:03:59]

In an interview with Christina Bobb, Marc Morano claimed switching to renewable energy sources would be more likely to force America into “endless wars over energy sources.” Morano also used this opportunity to promote “The Great Reset” conspiracy theory:⁴¹

Marc Morano: [00:01:23] we were dominant after President Trump. And what they’re going to do now is completely stifle American energy, which will make us more reliant on rare earth mining from places like China, Russia. And this will be, of course, to fuel electric cars and solar panels and windmills, which are going to require a huge increase in rare earth minerals. So we’re giving up fossil fuel independence for dependance on China, Russia and other countries. It is going to make the United States more likely to engage in so-called endless wars over energy sources. [00:01:55]

Christina Bobb: [00:01:55] Climate change seems a little bit nebulous, and it seems like a catch all for, “oh, it’s the most threatening thing to our environment. It’s the most threatening thing to our way of life and for national security.” Yet they’re opening the borders and making other policies that are blatantly, on their face, contrary to our national security. What do you say about the idea that climate change is basically a cover-all for doing whatever they want to do? [00:02:20]

Marc Morano: [00:02:20] Well, we know this is in their own words. I mean, the U.N. climate chief has actually said we seek a centralized transformation that will make life on planet Earth very different. We know the architects of the Green New Deal said it’s not a climate thing, it’s a change the whole economy thing.

We know the World Economic Forum is on the same heels they’re using the COVID lockdowns and COVID fears the same way they’ve used climate fears. They’re actually calling for a Great Reset. This is what the World Economic Forum John Kerry has called for. The Great Reset. Al Gore. And the idea is we are going to hammer the economy down, break it apart, and then rebuild it in this green image. So they’re very excited. It’s a merging, if you will, of the COVID solutions with the climate solutions. And you know, that’s what John Kerry said. The parallels are screaming at us. [00:03:04]

Power the Future executive director Daniel Turner appeared with OAN’s Stephanie Myers to discuss the Paris Climate Agreement and the Keystone XL pipeline.⁴²

Daniel Turner: [00:00:50] One of the problems of the Paris Climate Accord is that it sets up these globalist mandates that America has to follow, where many countries, particularly China and Russia, have ignored to follow these mandates. [00:01:03]

Stephanie Myers: [00:01:59] Biden also signed an executive order revoking the 2019 permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. We already know there’s been repercussions with job losses and even union officials speaking out against the move, but what are some of the other consequences regarding this decision? [00:02:14]

Daniel Turner: [00:02:16] Yeah, this is really a tragic decision, and I’ve spoken to numerous pipeline workers. I’ve filmed a couple of them for our website. And if you are one of these 11,000 individuals, these last three weeks have been hard. You don’t have a paycheck. You don’t have health care benefits. So there is this tremendous suffering that he inflicted for no reason other than pure politics on these people [00:02:39]

But like the Paris climate accord, there is a national security implication here. What we were doing for years is bringing oil from Canada, a reliable partner at a very good price, bringing their oil down to Texas for refining. Now, without the Keystone Pipeline, Canada is going to look for alternatives. They’ll probably send it west to their own ports and send it to China for refining, something I mentioned earlier. Or they’ll send it outside on the world market.

[00:03:13] And so now America is going to forego this constant stream of a reliable resource. And let’s face it, we need oil. We still use oil. And there’s this notion we’re going to get away from oil in the next 50, 100 years is just unscientific, and it’s quite frankly insulting and laughable. [00:03:34]

One America News personality Christina Bobb interviewed Marc Morano about his climate change denial film, Climate Hustle 2, on a segment called “Covid Lockdown Trial Run for Climate Lockdown.”

Marc Morano: [00:00:33] The gist of what they’re saying is that there is no climate emergency, and they go deeper. They actually and the findings of this film and talking to even I interviewed the former U.N. climate chief. This is not about the climate. The climate scare, in other words, is the latest environmental scare that has the same solutions going back 50 years. [00:00:54]

Marc Morano: [00:01:02] Yes, we have warmed since the end of the Little Ice Age in 1850, but we actually, you know, it’s actually a question of whether we’ve warmed since the nineteen thirties. The hottest days on record, and we show this in the film, for heat waves, still, the nineteen thirties hold the record for city heat waves across the United States, and we actually quote scientists on this and then show the data and the charts. So it goes through swings. We cooled until the 1970s and remember the coming Ice Age scare we had the 1970s, but we’ve definitely warmed since then. Obviously, people care about the environment. Everyone cares about the environment. The difference here is trying to say that we’re facing an emergency based on carbon dioxide emissions, a trace essential gas, and the atmosphere, is where this has gone off the rails. They’re using that to lobby for the Green New Deal. [00:01:46]

Morano goes on to suggest a conspiracy around a “great reset” regarding climate change and COVID lockdowns:

Marc Morano: [00:02:52] Now the Davos World Economic Forum, they’ve come out and called for, based on COVID and climate, a great reset. Not letting a crisis go to waste. And they’re calling for a socialist, great reset against capitalism. This is the words of the founder of the World Economic Forum. So what’s happened here is they’re going to try to morph climate and COVID together, and you’re going to go from a COVID lockdown to a climate lockdown. [00:03:19]

Liz Wheeler hosted Power the Future executive director Daniel Turner on her OAN segment Tipping Point that promoted the benefits of fossil fuels and denounced the Green New Deal. Turner described fossil fuels as a “blessing from God”:⁴⁵

Liz Wheeler: [00:03:08] Pharmaceuticals are produced via petrochemicals. If we didn’t have fossil fuels, how would we get the medication that we need to sustain not only emergency illnesses, but to sustain chronic illnesses? [00:03:22]

Daniel Turner: [00:03:46] When people like Kamala [Harris] say we’re going to leave oil in the ground while we’re taking away rubber is plastics, drugs, medicines, Tylenol, laundry detergent. I mean, the list goes on and on. I see fossil fuels as a blessing from God, as an abundance that has given us a wonderful life and people who are too aloof, too indifferent or too ignorant have no idea what fossil fuels have done for the good of mankind. [00:04:09]

OAN’z Liz Wheeler interviewed Power the Future executive director Daniel Turner about fracking.⁴⁶

“If you actually look at the process of fracking, if you look at the impacts that it has on our environment and especially in comparison to what we were using for energy before we were using the natural gas that is begot got from fracking, it doesn’t seem to me that fracking deserves being demonized in this way,” Wheeler began.

Turner commented that “fracking is a lot more common and there’s a lot safer and a lot older than people give it credit.”

He said people should “celebrate” environmental benefits of fracking: “Fracking has been a tremendous boon to the environment. It’s reduced our emissions.”

“We have to get rid of this myth that fossil fuels are somehow bad,” Turner said. “The Environmental Left did this for years to the coal industry, right? And they destroyed towns all across America, in Appalachia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, in New Mexico. They targeted coal because they told us coal was bad. Now they’re targeting fracking. What’s going to be next, right? This is the process of the environmental left. It’s not about the climate change. It’s not about the Earth. It is about power. And this is how the Green New Deal. This is how leftists will seize power.”

Wheeler responded:

“The Green New Deal, I’ve said this before, it’s socialism and communism wrapped up in green leaves to disguise it.”

Discussing the environmental contamination that is caused by fracking, Turner suggests it’s the fault of sloppy companies:

“Companies who are irresponsible or who cut corners should be held accountable and and I’m not going to say fracking is perfect, it’s not. But there is no perfect environmental solution and the people who want to, say, move us to a green technology green is not by any means perfect either, and we can have a whole show on the problems with green technologies. So absolutely, fracking does have some issues. …

“There are going to be problems with every industry. But if when you take those problems and you compare it to the good that it produces in terms of jobs, in terms of environmental stewardship and in terms of quality of life for the average country, fracking is by far one of the best solutions and technologies we have.”

Daniel Turner, executive director of Power the Future, appeared on OAN to talk about a supposed “government agenda” behind Swedish activist Greta Thunberg’s campaign for climate action.⁴⁷

During the interview, OAN host Jack Posobiec describes Greta Thunberg as “the climate lobby’s new poster star.”

Daniel Turner, responds it was a “genius move of the climate industry, and it is an industry. It’s a cabal… to choose a minor girl because now she is prone from attack.”

Turner added, “This is big green. They are truly the bad guys in this conversation. It has nothing to do with the environment, with the Earth, with the climate change. It is about advancing a socialist agenda and the climate issue is their cause.”

According to Turner, most Americans think global warming is a “hoax”:

“I don’t think [Greta’s] going to have any effect because at the end of the day, Americans understand what powers their economy. They have struggled. They being the Green Movement has really struggled to make climate change resonate, to make environmental causes resonate with voters, where with tax dollars. This is just the newest tactic. It’s not resonating. Global warming hasn’t scared people because most Americans realize it’s a hoax.”

In an interview with climate science denier Marc Morano on Tipping Point, OAN host Liz Wheeler questioned whether 97% of climate scientists agreed that climate change was anthropogenically driven, asking:

“Is that scientific fact or scientific theory?”

Morano referred to this consensus as a “scientific con-job,” stating incorrectly that “it was invented so that the non-scientist could silence debate on anyone around them.”⁴⁸

In an interview with Jon Gabriel, editor-in-chief of the conservative online platform and podcast network Ricochet, on Tipping Point, OAN host Liz Wheeler criticized environmentalist predictions that climate change may lead to more extreme weather, stating:

“[O]ne of the things they threatened us with, about 20 years ago, was that Southern California, where I’m sitting right now, would be flooded with inland seas, that we’d be completely destroyed. Every time I talk about climate change I look around me just to make sure I’m not sitting in a row boat, because they warned of devastation and it hasn’t come true, just like all of their other warnings.”⁴⁹

OAN’s Liz Wheeler moderated a debate between climate science denier Marc Morano and Nicole Capretz, the founder and executive director of the Climate Action Campaign. Wheeler criticized the April 2017 March for Science, stating that it should be called the “Liberal Environmentalists March.”

Morano characterized the United Nations as a “political lobbying organization” that “lobbies to make global warming sound worse than it could possibly be.”

Wheeler also stated, “if you can’t tell me mathematically, exactly how much our carbon emissions impact the changing environment of the Earth or the changing climate of the Earth, then I don’t know why I should give you my hard-earned money to fix that.”⁵⁰ ⁵¹

In a video in her “Final Point” series on the show Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler, Wheeler commented on the 2017 People’s Climate March in Washington: “My question to the marchers tomorrow is, ‘if climate scientists can’t tell me exactly to what degree my actions impact the climate, why should I believe any of their dire predictions about carbon emissions?’⁵² ⁵³

Wheeler went on to say, “none of their predictions have come true in the past. We still have polar bears, the ice caps are still floating up north.”⁵⁴

She also stated that “the 50 million climate refugees expected to be fleeing the Pacific Islands and flooding the West are still nowhere to be seen, not a single one. Entire nations supposed to be wiped off the map? They’re still here…why should we trust the judgement of so-called ‘climate experts’ anyway, when they falsified data at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, to create urgency to rush to a deal at the Paris climate accords?”

In an interview with Jon Gabriel on Tipping Point, Liz Wheeler stated, “Now President Obama is blaming global warming for the war in Syria. He’s blaming the droughts in Syria, actually, for the war.” Wheeler also stated, “what the president is doing is trying to make climate change a national security issue, it’s preposterous,” and “instead of looking at his own disastrous foreign policy.refusing to recognize the actual threat, a threat that has a name – radical Islam – the President would rather blame the weather.” The video is no longer available on YouTube. ⁵⁵
