Inhofe and the art of exaggeration

Senator James Inhofe continues his misinformation campaign with a recent stop in his home state of Oklahoma yesterday where he makes the outrageous claim that: โ€œIf we were to embrace the Kyoto treaty, it would shut down agriculture, military and oil production in Oklahomaโ€ฆโ€

This is on the heals of some other very misleading and exaggerated claims by Inhofe, such as:

On Tom Brokaw’s recent climate change documentary: โ€œIt kind of reminds โ€ฆ I could use the Third Reich, the big lieโ€

And,

His 2003 claim on the floor of the U.S. Congress that global warming is โ€œthe greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.โ€

Not to worry though Inhofe is only the Chairman of the Senate Committee for the Environment and Public Works.
