In a panel discussion at the United Nations conference on climate change, the top aide to Sen. James Inhofe (โ€œGlobal Warming Is the Greatest Hoax Ever Perpetrated, etc.โ€) complained recently that โ€œskeptics who are vocal are vilified.โ€ Mark Morano added that the greenhouse skeptics are being โ€œdemonizedโ€ by the media, and their Enviro-Alarmist allies. Membersย of the discussion panel on how to best convey the issue of climate change quickly shot back.

Pal Prestrud, director of the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research, shot back that โ€œwe’re on different planets or maybe even different galaxies.โ€ Jules Boykoffย went furtherย to explainย that, โ€œefforts by journalists to create โ€œbalancedโ€ stories on global warming allow โ€œa handful of skeptics โ€ฆ to be treated as equals to thousands ofย scientists.โ€

I think the real question here is, why would Morano be involved in such a panel to beginย with?
