For others who missed Paul Krugman column from last Thursdayโs New York Times, itโs worth a look. Krugman nails the Fox fantasist Glenn Beck for quoting reports that he canโt produce. Krugmanย says:
โThus, last week Glenn Beck โ who seems to be challenging Rush Limbaugh for the role of de facto leader of the G.O.P. โ informed his audience of a โburiedโ Obama administration study showing that Waxman-Markey would actually cost the average family $1,787 per year. Needless to say, no such studyย exists.โ
You really have to wonder whoโs inspiring Beck to make this stuffย up.
