Latest IPCC report calls for world social revolution, says author

The report, issued May 4 by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, said both developed and developing countries must cut greenhouse-gas emissions and shift away from oil to non-polluting energyย sources.

IPCC-report author and Tufts University professor William Moomaw told The New York Times recently โ€œweโ€™re looking for an energy revolution thatโ€™s as comprehensive as the one that occurred at the beginning of the 20thย Century.โ€
